PVC-free & tree-free
The mineral base with non-toxic HDPE resin contains no PVC or wood pulp. Calcium carbonate provides the main material component.

MINERAL PRINT SUBSTRATE
Premium paper-like print substrates, made with calcium carbonate and non-toxic HDPE resin.
WHAT IT IS
Our mineral-rich composition combines a premium paper-like feel with a less plastic-like impression than conventional synthetic films. The surface is warm white with high opacity, while the printing treatment is selected for the process.
Our mineral print substrate is produced without bleaching agents. It is also wood-pulp & tree-free. The non-toxic HDPE resin remains part of the construction, but with a lower percentage compared to traditional synthetic print media.

MATERIAL FEATURES
These are material-selection characteristics. Confirm the exact grade and finished construction against the demands of your application.
The mineral base with non-toxic HDPE resin contains no PVC or wood pulp. Calcium carbonate provides the main material component.
The base material can be reprocessed where a suitable mineral-filled non-toxic HDPE resin recycling route accepts it. Check local collection and the finished print, adhesive and liner; do not assume paper-stream acceptance.
The substrate resists water penetration, making it an option for frequently handled print and moisture-exposed applications. Test the ink, edges and finished construction for the actual use.
Durability, flexibility, dimensional stability and resistance to tearing and impact help retain a useful printed piece. Select the caliper and grade around bending, fastening and handling demands.
A grease-repellent surface and resistance to many common chemicals support practical applications. Resistance to most chemicals is not resistance to every chemical: confirm substance, concentration and contact time.
Explore substrate grades for conditions from −20°C to +80°C. The permitted temperature depends on the grade and duration of exposure; inks, coatings and adhesives may have narrower limits.
UV-resistant material is useful for light-exposed applications. Assess the complete printed construction and intended exposure period; outdoor colourfastness also depends on the ink system.
Print-ready surface treatments support fast drying in the appropriate ink system. Drying, curing and toner fixing depend on the grade, press, coverage and production settings.
FINISHING POSSIBILITIES
Create shaped tags, packaging details and tactile brand impressions. Match tooling, pressure and depth to the grade, then validate edge quality, relief and dimensional stability in a finishing trial.
Calcium carbonate is the main ingredient in our substrate base. Non-toxic HDPE resin provides structure. Explore a mineral-rich alternative for selected synthetic and wood-pulp-based print applications.

Collection and reprocessing depend on the local waste operator. Confirm the route before disposal.
