Print & production
Which CAMIPRI family should I choose?
Start with your process. PRESS covers offset, UV offset, flexo and screen printing; DIGITAL covers industrial HP Indigo and toner presses; LABEL covers pressure-sensitive facestocks. TAGS offers non-adhesive, two-side printable materials; DISPLAY covers large-format Latex, Eco-Solvent, UV and UVgel. FOOD covers materials for food-related applications. Match the exact grade to your press, finished format and intended use.
Can I use the same grade on every press?
No. Compatibility is specific to the grade and press. PRESS grades are not suitable for HP Indigo. For dry toner, validate feeding, heat response, toner adhesion and finishing on your own equipment.
How do I arrange a production trial?
Use our production trial form to prepare a brief with your press model, application, dimensions and estimated quantity. Our team will review the material, availability, next steps and any trial costs with you.
What should I test before production?
Use representative artwork and your intended settings. Check feeding, colour, registration, ink or toner adhesion, cutting, creasing and punching as relevant. Test the finished piece under realistic handling and exposure conditions.
Does a water-resistant substrate make the print waterproof?
The printed result also depends on the ink or toner, adhesion and finishing. Assess the complete printed article against spills, wiping and any cleaning products expected in use.
Materials & applications
What is CAMIPRI made from?
Our substrate base combines calcium carbonate with non-toxic HDPE resin. Calcium carbonate forms the largest share of the material. The exact composition and print treatment depend on the grade and construction.
How does the material look and feel?
CAMIPRI has a warm-white appearance, high opacity and a premium paper-like feel. It offers a less plastic-like impression than conventional synthetic films. A physical sample is the best way to assess the finish for your application.
Is CAMIPRI an alternative to PP, BOPP, PE, PET and PVC?
It is an option for selected synthetic print applications. Compare the finished job: caliper, weight, stiffness, printing, finishing and service conditions. It is not a universal substitute for every PP, BOPP, PE, PET or PVC construction.
Can I use CAMIPRI for retail and gift packaging?
Explore grades for sleeves, wraps, presentation pieces and packaging inserts. Validate folding, creasing, joining and the required stiffness. Food contact or other regulated end uses need a separate, application-specific assessment.
Are LABEL grades removable?
LABEL includes permanent and removable constructions for PRESS and DIGITAL. Choose removable grades for temporary uses and test removal on the actual surface; permanent grades are not intended for clean removal.
Sustainability & compliance
Are bleaching agents used?
No bleaching agents are used in the production of our mineral-based substrate.
Is CAMIPRI plastic-free or biodegradable?
No. The mineral-rich substrate includes non-toxic HDPE resin. Do not describe it as plastic-free, biodegradable or compostable.
Can it go into paper recycling?
Do not assume acceptance in paper recycling. Confirm the appropriate collection and reprocessing route with the local waste operator for the specific substrate, print, adhesive and finished construction.
Is CAMIPRI within the scope of EUDR?
Our base substrate is made from calcium carbonate and non-toxic HDPE resin, without wood or wood pulp, and is outside the scope of EUDR. Paper liners, wood-based packaging and other added components must be assessed separately.
Where can I find REACH, RoHS and SVHC information?
Our Compliance page explains the relevant topics. Ask our team to confirm the current documentation and status for the exact CAMIPRI grade and construction. This website does not imply a general certification covering every product or end use.
Ordering & documentation
Where can I download technical datasheets?
The download centre is ready for technical datasheets, brochures and compliance documents. Files will be added as they become available. In the meantime, contact our team with the product family and grade you are considering.
Can distributors and brand owners discuss an application?
Yes. We support printers, converters, distributors, designers and brand owners worldwide with material selection and production trials. Share the application, intended print process and requirements so we can identify the next step.
How do I confirm sizes and availability?
The product pages provide a starting point. Confirm the selected grade, sheet format, quantity, availability and lead time with our team before ordering.
